How do I season my Smithey Ironware for the first time?

Every Smithey arrives pre-seasoned and ready for immediate use. To enhance the natural non-stick surface over time, we recommend cooking with fats like butter or oil and avoiding acidic foods during the first few uses.

Are your products compatible with induction cooktops?

Yes, all Smithey cast iron and carbon steel products are fully compatible with induction, gas, electric, and glass stovetops, as well as ovens and open flames.

What is the best way to clean my cookware?

Wash your Smithey by hand using warm water and a soft brush or chainmail scrubber. Dry immediately and thoroughly on the stovetop over low heat, then apply a very light coat of vegetable oil before storing.

What is your return policy for domestic orders?

We offer a 30-day return window for unused products in their original packaging. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and a restocking fee may apply to certain items.
